Ingredients:
– 2 large onions, thinly sliced
– 1 cup gram flour (besan)
– 2 green chilies, finely chopped

– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– 1 teaspoon garam masala
– Salt to taste
– Water, as needed
– Oil, for frying
Recipe:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced onions, gram flour, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
2. Gradually add water to the mixture and mix well to form a thick batter.
3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
4. Take small portions of the batter and drop them into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown and crispy.
5. Remove the pakodas from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
6. Serve the Piyaji hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
