– 1 cup gram flour (besan)
– 1 cup ghee
– 1 cup sugar
– 1/2 cup water

Recipe:
1. In a pan, dry roast the gram flour over low heat until it turns aromatic and golden brown. Set aside.
2. In another pan, melt the ghee over low heat. Once melted, add the roasted gram flour and mix well until combined.
3. In a separate saucepan, combine the sugar and water and heat over medium heat to make a sugar syrup. Cook until it reaches a one-thread consistency.
4. Slowly pour the sugar syrup into the ghee and gram flour mixture while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
5. Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
6. Add a pinch of cardamom powder for flavor and mix well.
7. Pour the mixture into a greased tray and spread it evenly. Garnish with chopped nuts if desired.
8. Allow it to cool and set for a few hours before cutting it into pieces.
