Beetroot Vadai Tea Time Snacks Snack Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 cup grated beetroot
– 1 cup chana dal (split Bengal gram)
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
– 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
– A handful of fresh coriander leaves, chopped
– 1 tsp fennel seeds
– 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
– Salt to taste
– Oil for frying

Recipe:
1. Begin by soaking the chana dal in water for about 2 hours. After soaking, drain the water and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated beetroot, soaked chana dal, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
3. Heat the oil in a deep pan or kadai for frying.
4. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a small patty. Gently drop it into the hot oil and fry until it turns golden brown and crispy.
5. Remove the vadai from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
6. Serve the Beetroot Vadai hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
