Peas Masala Matar Masala Pattani Kurma

Ingredients:
– 2 cups of fresh or frozen peas
– 1 tablespoon of ghee or oil
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 2 tomatoes, pureed
– 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste
– 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
– 1 teaspoon of garam masala
– 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
– Salt to taste
– Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Recipe:
1. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
3. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
4. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
5. Mix in the coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes.
6. Add the peas and enough water to cover them. Cover and simmer until the peas are cooked through.
7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
