Ingredients:
– 1 cup basmati rice
– 200g paneer, cubed
– 1 onion, sliced
– 1 tomato, chopped
– 2 green chilies, slit
– 1-inch ginger, grated
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon garam masala
– 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
– Salt to taste
– 2 tablespoons ghee
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Recipe:
1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
2. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee and add the cumin seeds. Once they start to sizzle, add the sliced onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
3. Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, and green chilies, and cook for a minute.
4. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until it turns soft and mushy.
5. Add the cubed paneer, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Gently mix the rice with the paneer mixture.
7. Pour 2 cups of water into the pan and bring it to a boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
8. Fluff the Paneer Pulao with a fork, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and serve hot.
