Veg Manchurian

Ingredients:
– 2 cups finely chopped mixed vegetables (cabbage, carrots, capsicum, and onions)
– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/4 cup cornflour
– 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
– 1/2 tsp green chili sauce
– 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
– 1/2 tsp salt
– Oil for frying
– For the Manchurian sauce:
– 1 tbsp oil
– 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
– 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
– 2-3 green chilies, slit
– 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
– 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
– 1/2 tsp green chili sauce
– 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
– 1/2 tsp sugar
– 1/2 cup water
– 1 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 2 tbsp water
– Salt to taste

Recipe:
1. In a bowl, mix the chopped vegetables, all-purpose flour, cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, green chili sauce, black pepper powder, and salt.
2. Shape the mixture into small balls and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain and set aside.
3. For the Manchurian sauce, heat oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Saute for a minute.
4. Add the spring onions and capsicum, and saute for another couple of minutes.
5. Now add the soy sauce, tomato ketchup, green chili sauce, black pepper powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
6. Add water and bring the mixture to a boil. Then, add the cornflour mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
7. Finally, add the fried vegetable balls to the sauce and toss gently to coat them evenly.
8. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
