Hyderabadi Chicken Korma – A Delicious Chicken Curry Side Dish

Welcome to my home cooking show where I will be sharing my favorite Hyderabadi Chicken Korma recipe. This traditional Indian dish is packed with flavor and is the perfect side dish for chapati. Get ready to learn how to make this delicious and aromatic chicken curry at home.

Ingredients:
– 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
– 2 onions, finely chopped
– 2 tomatoes, chopped
– 1/2 cup yogurt
– 1/4 cup cashew nuts
– 1/4 cup fresh cream
– 1/4 cup ghee
– 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
– 2 green chilies, chopped
– 1 tsp red chili powder
– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
– 1 tsp garam masala
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
– 1 tsp lemon juice

Recipe:
1. In a blender, grind the cashew nuts with the yogurt and set aside.
2. Heat ghee in a large pan and add the chopped onions. Cook until golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
5. Add the chicken pieces, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Pour in the cashew-yogurt mixture and stir. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat.
7. Once the chicken is cooked, add garam masala and fresh cream. Mix gently and simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
9. Your Hyderabadi Chicken Korma is ready to be served with warm chapati.
