Ingredients:
– 1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
– 1 cup whole wheat flour
– 1 cup powdered jaggery (or sugar)
– 1/4 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
– 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
– 1/4 cup poppy seeds
– 1/4 cup melon seeds
– 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
– 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
– 1/4 teaspoon edible gum (gond)
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– Pinch of saffron strands
– 1/4 cup warm milk

Recipe:
1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee over medium heat.
2. Add the whole wheat flour and roast it until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
3. Stir in the powdered jaggery and continue to cook until it melts and forms a thick, sticky mixture.
4. Add the mixed nuts, desiccated coconut, poppy seeds, melon seeds, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, edible gum, and black pepper to the pan. Mix well.
5. Dissolve the saffron strands in warm milk and add it to the mixture. Stir until everything is well combined and the mixture holds together.
6. Transfer the mixture to a greased tray and press it down firmly to form an even layer.
7. Allow the Adadiya Pak to cool and set for a few hours before cutting it into pieces and serving.
