Ingredients:
– 2 cups rice flour
– 1/2 cup coconut milk
– 1/4 cup urad dal flour
– 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
– Salt to taste
– Oil for deep frying

Recipe:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, urad dal flour, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida, and salt.
2. Gradually add the coconut milk and knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Add a little water if necessary.
3. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
4. Fill the murukku press with the dough and press it directly into the hot oil in a circular motion to form spiral shapes.
5. Fry the murukku until it turns golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
6. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.
7. Once cool, store the Thengai Pal Murukku in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
