– 1/2 cup coconut milk
– 1 tsp garam masala
– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
– Salt to taste

Recipe:
1. Rinse the rice and drain the water. Keep it aside.
2. In a pan, heat ghee and add cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cloves. Saute for a minute.
3. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
4. Add the chopped tomato, green chili, and mixed vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add the drained rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add 2 cups of water, coconut milk, and salt. Cover and cook until the rice is done.
7. For the kurma, heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Saute until they turn translucent.
8. Add the tomatoes and mixed vegetables. Cook until they turn soft.
9. Add garam masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
10. Add coconut milk and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
