– Welcome to Sastry’s Kitchen, where we bring you delicious and healthy recipes inspired by traditional Indian cuisine.
– Today, we are excited to share with you our recipe for Black Sesame Seeds Laddu, a sweet and nutty treat that is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:
– 1 cup black sesame seeds
– 1 cup grated jaggery
– 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
– 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
– 2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, or pistachios)
– 1/4 cup desiccated coconut (optional)

Recipe:
1. Dry roast the black sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until they turn golden brown and start to pop.
2. Allow the roasted sesame seeds to cool, then grind them into a coarse powder using a food processor or blender.
3. In a separate pan, melt the ghee and add the grated jaggery. Cook this mixture on low heat, stirring continuously, until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup.
4. Add the ground sesame seeds, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts to the jaggery syrup. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
5. Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly. It should be cool enough to handle but still warm.
6. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round laddus (balls) using your hands. If desired, roll the laddus in desiccated coconut for an extra layer of flavor.
7. Your Black Sesame Seeds Laddu is ready to be enjoyed! Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

We hope you enjoy making and indulging in these delectable laddus, and we can’t wait to hear about your experience with this recipe. Happy cooking!
