Ingredients:
– 500g mutton, cut into pieces

– 1/4 cup yogurt
– 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
– 4-5 green chilies, slit
– 1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked and ground into a paste
– 1/4 cup fresh cream
– 1 tsp cumin seeds
– 4-5 cloves
– 4-5 green cardamoms
– 1-inch cinnamon stick
– 1 bay leaf
– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
– 1 tsp red chili powder
– 1 tsp garam masala
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
– 2-3 tbsp oil

Recipe:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon, and bay leaf. Sauté until aromatic.
2. Add the sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
4. Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
5. Add the mutton pieces and cook until they are sealed.
6. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
7. Add the cashew nut paste and yogurt. Cook until the oil floats on top.
8. Pour in 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until the mutton is tender.
9. Stir in the garam masala and fresh cream. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or steamed rice.
