– Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
– Red chili powder – 2 tsp
– Coriander powder – 2 tsp

Recipe:
1. Start by soaking the tamarind in warm water and extracting the pulp. Set it aside.
2. Wash and slit the brinjal without cutting off the stalk.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add fenugreek seeds and curry leaves.
4. Add the small onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
5. Now, add the tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
6. Add the slit brinjal and sauté for a few minutes.
