– 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
– 1 cup plain yogurt
– 2 onions, finely chopped
– 2 tomatoes, pureed
– 3-4 green chilies, slit
– 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
– 1 tsp cumin seeds
– 1 tsp turmeric powder
– 1 tsp red chili powder
– 1 tsp coriander powder
– Salt to taste
– 2 tbsp oil
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
3. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
4. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Saute for a minute.
5. Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
6. Add the turmeric, red chili, and coriander powder. Mix well.
7. Add the prawns and cook for 3-4 minutes.
8. Once the prawns are cooked, add the whisked yogurt and stir continuously to prevent curdling.
9. Cook for a few more minutes until the curry thickens.
10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan.
