Ingredients:
– 500g Mutton, minced
– 1 cup Chana dal, washed and soaked
– 1 large Onion, chopped
– 4 Green chilies, chopped
– 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
– 1 tsp Red chili powder
– 1 tsp Garam masala powder
– 1 tsp Cumin powder
– 1 tsp Coriander powder
– 1 Egg
– Handful of Fresh coriander, chopped
– Handful of Mint leaves, chopped
– Salt to taste
– Oil for frying

Recipe:
1. In a pot, combine the minced mutton, soaked chana dal, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, and salt.
2. Add enough water to cover the ingredients and cook until the meat and dal are tender and the water is evaporated.
3. Once cooked, allow the mixture to cool and then grind it into a smooth paste.
4. Transfer the paste to a bowl and add red chili powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, egg, fresh coriander, and mint leaves. Mix well.
5. Shape the mixture into small patties and set aside.
6. Heat oil in a skillet and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
7. Serve the Mutton Shami Kababs hot with your favorite chutney or dip.
