For Sambar Rice:
1 cup of rice
1 cup of toor dal
1 onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped

Sambar powder

Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt
Oil

For Bisibelebath:
1 cup of rice
1 cup of toor dal
2 tomatoes, chopped
A handful of mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, peas)
Tamarind pulp
Bisibelebath powder
Turmeric powder
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Cashew nuts
Ghee
Salt
Jaggery

Recipes:
Sambar Rice:
Cook the rice and toor dal separately and set aside.
In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add tomatoes and mixed vegetables, and cook until they are soft.
Add tamarind pulp, sambar powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes.
Mix in the cooked rice and dal, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Bisibelebath:
Cook the rice and toor dal separately and set aside.
