Ingredients:
– 1 liter milk
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1 lemon, juiced
– 1/4 cup water
– 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios)
– 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
– Saffron strands
– 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
– 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 1 liter water
– 1 cup sugar

Recipe:
1. Start by boiling the milk in a pan and add lemon juice to it to curdle the milk.
2. Once the milk has curdled, strain it through a muslin cloth to separate the chenna (paneer) from the whey.
3. In a separate pan, dissolve sugar in water and add the chenna to it. Cook for 10 minutes over low flame.
4. Meanwhile, knead the chenna with all-purpose flour and baking powder to make soft dough.
5. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them slightly.
6. In another pan, bring water to a boil and add sugar to make a sugar syrup.
7. Gently drop the chenna balls into the syrup and cook for 15 minutes with the lid on.
8. Once the balls are cooked, transfer them to a bowl of cold water and squeeze out the excess water.
9. Arrange the balls in a serving dish and pour the reduced milk over them.
10. Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron strands, and let it chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
11. Your delicious Rasmalai in Kannada is ready to be served!
