– 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
– 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
– 1 cup yogurt
– 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
– Salt to taste

Recipe:
1. Rinse the basmati rice until the water runs clear, then soak for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large pot, heat the ghee or oil over medium heat. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, and cardamom pod, and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the chopped onion and green chili, and sauté until the onion is golden brown.
4. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and ginger-garlic paste, and sauté for another minute.
5. Add the drained rice to the pot, and stir well to coat the rice with the spices.
6. Pour in the yogurt and water, and season with salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
7. Cover the pot and let the rice simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through and the liquid is absorbed.
