Fresh Sundakkai Gravy Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 cup fresh sundakkai (Turkey berry)
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
– 2 green chilies, chopped
– 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
– 1 tsp cumin seeds
– 1 tsp coriander powder
– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
– 1/2 tsp chili powder
– 1/2 tsp garam masala
– 2 tbsp cooking oil
– Salt to taste
– Fresh cilantro for garnish
Recipe:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to crackle.
2. Add chopped onions and green chilies. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for another 2 minutes.
4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
5. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Add fresh sundakkai and saute for 5 minutes.
7. Add 1 cup of water, cover the pan, and let the sundakkai cook for 10-15 minutes.
8. Once the sundakkai is cooked, add garam masala and simmer for 5 minutes.
9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
